The Emergency Medical Response Curriculum covers emergency medical techniques considered to be necessary for providing emergency care within the scope of practice of the EMR.  The student will learn the same priorities of care and approach to the patient used by EMS professionals. This course is highly skills-intensive and students  work through both skill practice sessions and accident scenarios to develop proficiency and comfort with patient care skills.
