The major goal of this program is to assist students in developing more confidence and competence providing first aid treatment and to help them deal successfully with medical emergencies. The course provides the student with the essential knowledge and skills required to provide first and and to prepare a person for transport when advanced medical help arrives.
This supplement is intended to be used along side the Level One program, not as a stand alone program. The student must be at least 16 years of age, and hold a valid Workplace for B.C. Level One certificate or equivalent.

Circle of Care Concept, SETUP scene assessment and mechanism of injury

Initial and secondary assessments, including Airway, Breathing, Circulation, along with history taking
